Principles protection against electric shock and overvoltage

Below we publish reference documents regarding the principles of protection against electric shock in medium voltage power stations. (MV/LV, MV/MV and MV) and in LV lines in terms of design, construction and operation developed by Distribution System Operators who are members of PTPiREE.

Recommended actions:

Stage I – the possibility of applying the principles of protection against electric shock and overvoltage under the existing rules until December 31, 2022.

Stage II – the obligation to design and build the power grid according to the principles specified in the documents “Principles of protection against electric shock in substations MV/LV, MV/MV and MV substations and LV lines in DSO companies in the scope of design, construction and operation” – valid from 1 January 2023, taking into account the conditions specified in contracts and other OSDs regulations.
